Cavaleri Quartet
First prize winners in the 2011 Royal Overseas League Competition and winners of the 'Special Prize' at the 2011 Premio Paolo Borciani International String Quartet Competition, the Cavaleri Quartet made their Wigmore Hall debut in 2010 and their Southbank debut at the Purcell Room in 2008 as Park Lane Group Young Artists. Most recently, the quartet was selected for the Countess of Munster Recital Scheme, for 2011 /12.
The Cavaleris have performed extensively throughout London and the UK, with appearances in the Wigmore Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room, Conway Hall, Cadogan Hall and King's Place. Further afield they have performed in the Rachmaninov Hall, Moscow, and at the Teatro Monumental, Madrid, for the 'Solistas del Siglo XXI' series, broadcast live on Radio Clasica, Spain... More »
